Just saw on Gizmodo that Best Buy changed their logo:
They bring up an interesting point: I wonder if it will psychologically condition people to spend more since it’s so much less tacky than the old logo.
Hm.
I don’t like the lowercase on it though because it feels a lot more temporary than a bold sanserif caps. Glad they kept the equity of the tag, and lost the nonsense of it. Gah! So yellow before. =) It’s juuuust, hmm, it’s just that lowercase font. It feels weak, temporary, and too much for the Web. As if they expect you to see this, but never look for it. Like it’s not established and they’re not proud of it.
