I wrote a blog entry a week or two ago proposing that applications on one’s computer have live cultural vernacular updates, so we wouldn’t have to see red dotted lines under words like “blog” or “geocaching.” Well, I just read about a web site on PSFK called WordSpy that approaches this idea (or, the first step it would take to do this):

WordSpy is a website that tracks, defines and cites first usage of new words that appear in popular culture.

Hooray! Now someone just has to program the second half of this idea. Noah… ?
