Shooting film for your blog!
This isn’t some trend that’s taking off by storm or anything, but I’ve been observing more and more young people shoot film for their blogs (and social networks). Yes, shooting digital for your blog is inexpensive and much more practical compared to shooting film, but IMO the look and feel of your blog will blow any digi blog away (granted you have good content!). If you have the money and time to support a blog with film, then do it. This will affect the frequency at how often you can post new blogs, but that’s the tradeoff you’ll have to make for shooting film. Maybe a combo between film and digi would work best? That would allow you to keep up the frequency of your blog posts, but also give you a chance to mix in some film from time to time. I really want to start shooting film for my blog, but it’s just a matter of time until I get around to finding a camera that works for me. This blogging game takes time and dedication as you can see, but blogs are the new life hustles; so if you want to get your hustle on, then step it up. It will pay off in the end. Happy blogging!
Sincerely,
//Heron
These are some examples for you:
Angelo Baque out in Barcelona for Riottt.com
“thanks to Fuji and Kodak..fallback digital..”

Cory Kennedy on a recent cover of Jalouse magazine. Check out the camera hanging from her pants. It’s not a digital camera.

A girl I found on The Hundreds website. She’s shooting film.

Jack Siegel for The Skull Set. He shoots his entire site using a Contax T3 and Leica Minilux
